Thursday saw the end of the cross examination of the accuser in the Jordan Johnson rape trial. Normally the prosecution will ask follow up questions called re-direct, but in this case the prosecution asked to reserve that questioning and allow a witness to be called as soon as the cross examination by defense attorney Dave Paoli ended. This unusual event occurred because this witness is an expert psychological witness for the prosecution that has to leave town on a plane today, so his testimony must occur now. The accuser is expected to retake the stand to finish the redirect questioning.
