Missoula’s current Mayor John Engen will likely easily reclaim the Mayor title once again for his third term. Engen runs on the Democratic party ticket. Although taxes have risen and the city’s budget has grown and grown, Missoulian’s continue to vote for Engen due to his other policies and ability to get business accomplished and work with the county commissioners. No Republican opponent has filed to run against Engen as of yet, and none will likely appear for this contest.
