Jan Wisniewski is now a “former” Ravalli County planning board chairman. Wisniewski had applied to be re-nominated for another 2 year term for the position, however, none of the County Commissioners elected to nominate Wisniewski. Jan Wisniewski drew negative attention after attending a County Commissioner meeting and made statements referring to “drunk indians.” Wisniewski has apologized for the statements, but it would appear that the comments turned into the end of his time as board chair.
