Marty Judnich Esq., President
Marty has been helping the injured for over 19 years. From working as a case manager at a famous personal injury law firm in college until after he received his law degree, Marty has excelled at helping the hurting and fighting insurance companies. Marty is a former criminal prosecutor in the Cascade County Attorney’s Office and now uses that experience to defend those accused of crimes. A University of Montana School of Law graduate, Marty focuses his practice on personal injury and criminal defense. Marty is well-known as a premier DUI defense attorney and is well versed in the insurance claims industry and has negotiated significant settlements with nearly every major insurance company. Marty is a very experienced trial attorney and will take cases to jury trial when required. Marty is admitted to the Montana and Washington State Bar as well as the 9th Circuit Court of appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Vinnie Pavlish, Associate Attorney
Vinnie was heavily involved with the ASUM student union and was on staff and an editor at the Montana Law Review and participated in National Moot Court and Environmental Law Moot Court. His clinical program was a clerkship with Federal Magistrate Lynch.
Vinnie clerked for Judge Ray J. Dayton in Anaconda, Montana, for almost two years and since then has been working as an associate attorney in trial work, personal injury, and criminal defense for the Judnich Law Office. Vinnie is a very experienced trial attorney in both civil and criminal matters and works hand in hand with Marty in a team approach to achieve the best client satisfaction and results possible. Vinnie is admitted to practice in all Montana courts.
Lucy Hansen, Associate Attorney
Lucy was raised in Butte and Helena, Montana. She graduated from Carroll College and received her law degree from the University of Montana in 2002. While in law school, she excelled as a member of the Trial Team. Lucy was awarded one of two Student Advocates of the Year Award at graduation. She is licensed to practice in State and Federal Courts. Lucy owned a solo family law practice from 2003-2006. From 2006 through 2012 she served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Protection Unit.
Lucy focuses her practice on family law and with the Judnich Law Office uses her skills and knowledge to aggressively represent her clients in the most difficult of life’s matters. Lucy also offers legal services of Guardian ad litem or GAL investigations and reports, settlement and mediation services in family law matters as well as legal appeals to the Montana Supreme Court. Lucy has more than fifteen years experience in helping others through some of their most difficult life experiences and her background in child abuse and neglect litigation, trial work and family law is second to none. She brings passion, knowledge, and commitment to each of her cases.
Outside of the office, Lucy enjoys spending time with her young son, and enjoying all that Montana has to offer.
Nathan Hulling, Associate Attorney
Nathan was born in Illinois and raised in the great state of Tennessee. He attended law school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He commissioned as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps in 2009 and served his country as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate until 2017 acquiring the rank of Major. During his Marine Corps career Nathan worked as a defense counsel in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, defending Marines charged with crimes and also as a criminal prosecutor at Camp Pendleton, California. Nathan’s practice focuses on trial work, family law and criminal defense at the Judnich Law Office.
Nathan and his family moved to the Bitterroot Valley to take advantage of Montana’s beautiful scenery and outdoor lifestyle. Nathan is passionate about the outdoors, conservation and spending time with his family.
Brandi Wetherelt, Paralegal
Brandi focuses her efforts specifically for the family law division of the Judnich Law Office. Brandi’s lengthy legal experience in family law makes the perfect 1-2 punch with Lucy and Nathan to achieve our client’s goals. She was born and raised in Eastern Montana and later relocated to Polson, Montana. Brandi graduated from the University of Montana and majored in International Business and Business Management and Minored in Marketing. Brandi became a Paralegal through the State Bar of Montana and has over a decade of legal experience. In her free time, Brandi enjoys rafting, fly fishing, camping, hiking and spending time with her family in the great outdoors of Montana.
Kerry Donk, Legal Assistant
Though born in Billings, Kerry is a recent transplant from Seattle where for nearly twenty-five years she worked in the Electric Utility Industry. Part of her responsibility was to review the contractual Terms and Conditions on the projects in which she was involved. It was this interest in the law and it’s application that lead Kerry to Judnich Law Office.
